Mike Hodgson, Founder & Managing Partner
Mike brings over a decade of senior leadership and investment experience across offshore wind and the broader energy transition sectors.
He has built, repositioned, and invested in subsea services, offshore infrastructure, and strategic supply chains – with a focus on turning operational insights into long-term value.
Before founding Leadwood Partners, Mike led the global renewables strategy at James Fisher and Sons PLC, where he originated cross-border M&A, structured joint ventures, and delivered growth initiatives across UK and Europe, North America, and Asia.
Before this, he led the turnaround of a private subsea services business, launching new offshore wind offerings and significantly improving profitability. His background also includes early-stage technology investment and corporate development for an industrial holding company.
